Description
The Mountfield MTF 108H-SD garden tractor offers the perfect solution for those of you who do not wish to collect your grass clippings. In tall growth conditions the side discharge mode neatly cuts and spreads the grass so it can be left to wilt naturally. For areas that are being mown on a more regular basis the mulching function cuts and re-cuts the grass into small particles that disappear into the turf, returning valuable nutrients to the soil.
Powered by a 452cc single cylinder Stiga engine, the MTF 108H-SD tractor has a hydrostatic transmission with a reverse gear. A hydrostatic transmission is similar in many ways to the gearbox on an automatic car, forward and reverse speeds are infinitely variable. To move forward you simply press the forward pedal and the more firmly you press the faster you will go. For reverse press the reverse pedal, you can change from forward to reverse instantly so maneuverability is fantastic.; and which runs cleanly, quietly and super-efficiently due to its overhead-valve (OHV) configuration.
It is fitted with a 108cm/43in working width cutter deck and comes complete with a tow bar & mulching kit as standard. Height of cut is easy to adjust from 25-80mm with 7 settings.
Further attributes included a super-tight 130cm turning-radius for straightforward end-of-pass realignment; and an adjustable seat for a comfortable drive, whatever your height.
Ideal for lawns and rough-grass areas up to 10,000m2.
